Amani birth is not a method of birth.
There is no right or wrong way to birth. Amani birth is simply a philosophy of
trusting Allah’s perfect design of a woman’s body and a program for educating
women about the way their body works during the blessed time of pregnancy,
labor, birth, and early motherhood. It is our belief that understanding the
process will allow women to prepare, work with their bodies, and take full
advantage of Allah’s built in safety nets.
Amani birth is trust in Allah for an
empowering, natural, non-medicated birth with the woman at the center of the
event and the birth attendants supporting and encouraging her along the way,
intervening only if true complications arise.
