FAQ for hosting a Training

Assalamua'laikum,
Here is a list of Frequently Asked Questions which was made according to the AMANI Birth Childbirth Educator & Doula Training in November 2011.

QUESTION 1:

Participants may have very different levels of knowledge about birth, such as the more experienced birth workers and advocates and on the other end of the spectrum, the newcomers with little basic knowledge. Would this be a problem in terms of how the course can progress to cater the different levels of knowledge?

ANSWER 1:

First of all, we will be going over the same materials that we will use when teaching new parents, so obviously, the participants who have little to no experience will gain what they need, insha’Allah, just from that.

As for the more experienced, there is always something new to glean and they will enrich the workshop with their experiences as well.
